Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer

About the Position

We're seeking a Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer with strong OOP experience to join our team in Hutto, TX, focusing on scalable backend systems and cloud-native migration.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of scalable backend systems and cloud-native migration efforts.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment processes.
• Support and enhance cloud-native applications and services, primarily on AWS.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python (preferred), Golang, or Java with strong object-oriented programming experience.
• Experience with AWS (preferred) or Azure.
• Knowledge of Terraform (preferred) or AWS CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with GitHub (preferred) or GitLab.
• Understanding of DevOps with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Agile methodologies using Rally or Jira.
• Familiarity with EDI standards including X12 formats.

Education

The minimum qualification required for performing the above specialty occupation duties is a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent is required closely related field with relevant experience.
