Dzyga's Paw Charity Fund

Dzyga’s Paw Charity Foundation, based in Lviv, Ukraine, supports the Defence Forces with modern technological equipment needed to gain an advantage on the battlefield. We identify military needs, organize international fundraising campaigns, build tech solutions, and then procure and deliver equipment to the frontline in Ukraine.At the beginning of the russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, there were not many ways for foreigners to directly support Ukrainian fighters. Dimko and Iryna, young Ukrainian IT specialists who had been building their careers and dreaming of starting a business, sacrificed their plans and switched to volunteering to help the army, communicated about their effort online in English, and created a way for foreigners to donate directly to the Ukrainian defenders. Later, they founded a charity that grew from a small initiative into a global, transparent organization — Dzyga’s Paw, named after their dog. The key concept of the foundation is to engage foreign citizens in supporting the Ukrainian Army and explain the importance of military support above humanitarian — we need to solve the cause of the issue, not deal with the consequences.
