About the Position

EQUITY team is looking for a Junior Associate to join our Litigation team!

This position is ideal for a graduate with a law degree and experience!

Responsibilities

Drafting legal requests, procedural documents (mainly commercial)
Working with state registers, databases and other systems, searching and analysing the necessary information
Monitoring the status of clients' court cases
Analysing documents provided by the client
Participation in the development of the client's defence strategy (commercial, civil, administrative)
Technical work with documents, organization and provision of mailing of documents
In the future, representing clients in Ukrainian courts

Law degree
At least 1 year of experience in litigation practice, litigation experience is an advantage
Basic knowledge of substantive law, knowledge of procedural law
Experience in writing and drafting procedural documents (for the court)
Experience in drafting contracts, additional agreements, letters, requests, etc
Fluent in Ukrainian, written and spoken, knowledge of English at upper intermediate level will be an advantage
Ability to work with official state registers (register of court decisions, register of legal entities, register of property rights to real estate, other registers) and the "LIGA: ZAKON" system
Experience in participating in court hearings (an advantage)
Fluent computer skills and ability to use office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
Attention to detail, analytical thinking, discipline, responsibility, self-organisation, punctuality
Communication skills, sociability, ability to work in a team
