We use state-of-the-art technology stack based on micro services. Coding is in Typescript on top of NodeJS and communication between services is done using GRPC/Protobuf and event streaming over Kafka.The Front End is React -TypeScript and our mobile app is based on React Native. We use GraphQL for FE<>BE communication. In the data layer we use both SQL (RDS PostgreSQL & Redshift) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch) and Redis for caching.Our services are containerized in Docker, and we deploy them using K8 Helm & Skaffold. We use Terraform for building infra as a code on top of AWS.The code is maintained in Github and we use agile methodologies, including CI/CD (CircleCI) and frequent deployments to production. We monitor the system using Prometheus and ELK and other advanced tools.Workflow management orchestration for our data pipelines is done using AirFlow. And we heavily use machine learning and AI to generate insights and optimize the user experience and flows.● Life at LocalizeWe established a team in Ukraine four years ago, starting small and focusing on FE technologies.
