2D Animators(-e)/ Motion Designer

About the Position

We are hiring 2D Animators/ Motion Designer to join our Product Design Department in Riga, Latvia. In this role, you will create visual motion and interactive design solutions for our products. You will be expected to deliver high-quality animation work within deadlines, while continuously pushing creative boundaries to achieve the most effective results. Collaboration with an international team of professionals through brainstorming sessions and design initiatives will be a key part of your daily work.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality motion graphics and animations that enhance the user interface, making games more intuitive and visually appealing.
• Produce interactive visual solutions that improve and clarify visual feedback during gameplay.
• Create animations with visual cues that effectively guide player attention.
• Design beautiful, functional, and cohesive animations that align with game aesthetics and maintain brand consistency.
• Actively contribute to design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and strategic discussions.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, managers, product owners, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to create more engaging and attractive gaming experiences through visual storytelling.
• Prepare final design assets and specifications for development teams and oversee implementation to ensure high-quality execution.
• Present concepts, animated visuals, and enhancement ideas to stakeholders.
• Work effectively in an Agile environment, supporting the team through fast-paced delivery cycles.
• Stay up to date with motion design trends, tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Work independently as well as collaboratively while fostering a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Motion Design or a similar creative role, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing impactful motion graphics and animation projects (B2B experience is considered an advantage).
• Bachelor's degree in Animation, Design, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in motion graphics and animation.
• Solid understanding of animation principles.
• Experience working in Agile environments and with tools such as Jira.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
• Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong team-oriented and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent English communication skills (advanced level required) to perform job duties, including using the company's internal systems and communicating on a daily basis with other international departments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Spine and/or Rive.
• Experience with Figma.
• Previous experience in the iGaming or Gaming industry.
