2D Artist

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior 2D Artist to join our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate will specialize in game development for instant, slot, and crash games.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D art for instant, slot, and crash games, including characters, symbols, backgrounds, environments, UI elements, props, and visual effects.
• Develop visual concepts from sketches and mood boards to final production-ready artwork.
• Design complete asset packages that clearly communicate gameplay states, interactions, rewards, risks, and features.
• Collaborate with the Art Director and Game Producers to maintain visual quality and support gameplay requirements.
• Prepare layered PSD files and optimized assets for Spine animation and HTML5 (PixiJS, Cocos2d) integration.
• Review artwork in-game, make required visual adjustments, maintain clean files, estimate tasks, and communicate production risks.
• Use AI-assisted tools such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Adobe Firefly, or similar solutions for ideation, visual research, concept exploration, and production support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a 2D Artist in game development, preferably working on slot, instant, crash, or mobile games.
• Strong drawing, composition, color, lighting, perspective, and visual storytelling skills.
• Ability to work across different art styles, including stylized, cartoon, casual, semi-realistic, and fantasy.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or similar digital painting software.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, or similar solutions for concept development and asset production, with the ability to refine results and maintain visual consistency.
• Experience creating characters, symbols, backgrounds, environments, UI elements, props, and visual effects, with an understanding of slot, instant, and crash game visual requirements.
• Experience preparing layered, production-ready assets for Spine animation and HTML5 (PixiJS, Cocos2d) integration, with an understanding of asset optimization and performance constraints.
• Ability to work independently, estimate tasks, manage priorities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality assets on schedule.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating game art, visual concepts, production-ready assets, and a range of styles.
