About the Position
2D Concept Artist
We are seeking a talented 2D Concept Artist to join our team in Hanoi, Vietnam. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D concept art, collaborating with 3D artists, and ensuring design accuracy and alignment with Gameloft’s style guidelines.
Responsibilities

Artistic and Design Ability
- Follow a pre-set art style, guidelines, and instructions
- Produce characters, environments, and props concepts from briefs and instructions
- Integrate and react positively to feedback
- Demonstrate a good understanding of anatomy, composition, and color theory
- Master painting and photo editing software

Creativity & Innovation
- Develop original designs and ideas for project graphics
- Conduct competition, market, and AI research to widen the range of references
- Deliver a good level of polish within reasonable deadlines

Communication & Organization
- Require low supervision
- Respect deadlines
- Organize files with logical naming conventions
- Update tasks from Jira and provide clear status updates to the team
- Show open communication and openness to feedback
- Contribute to game art documentation creation and updates
Requirements

Core Skills
- Superior eye for light, value, color, and composition
- Solid knowledge of concept art and design principles
- Good knowledge of casual/cartoonish art style and ability to work with it
- Basic knowledge of 3D tools (minimum: 3D blocking at concept stage)
- Basic English communication skills
