About the Position
We are currently looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer to join our client's offshore accommodation and support vessel based in Angola.
Start: ASAP
Location: Angola
Rotation: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off
Contract: Ongoing rotational position with the potential to lead to permanent employment after 3 trips for the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel's engineering systems.
- Maintain and repair engineering equipment and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team and other departments as needed.
Requirements
- Valid 2nd Engineer CoC
- Advanced Fire Fighting
- Basic Safety Training
- Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (other than Fast Rescue Boats)
- FOET/BOSIET
- OGUK Offshore Medical
- Seafarer Medical
- High Voltage certification
