About the Position
Our partner, a multinational software development company specializing in mobile and browser games, is looking for a 3D Animation Artist (Action Games) to join their team. This role is remote and is suitable for a Junior professional.
Responsibilities
- Animating characters and objects for the game
- Receiving ready-made 3D character models and preparing them for animation
- Importing characters and objects into Unity, and checking the animation quality in this engine
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience
- Proficiency with Maya
- Knowledge of processes such as rigging, skinning, and character setup
- Experience working with game engines (Unity 3D, Unreal)
- Ability to animate both living and non-living forms
- Understanding of animation principles and ability to apply them in the game
- High-quality portfolio or demo reel showcasing your previous work
Nice to Have
- Strong 2D animation skills
- Experience working with Spine
- English language skills at the intermediate level or higher
- Solid gaming experience and keen interest in video games
