About the Position
3D Artist (Project Based)
Amber Studio, located in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a talented 3D Artist for project-based work. Join our team and contribute to creating stunning game graphics and assets.
Responsibilities
- Create graphics for environments, characters, and props in collaboration with animators and 2D artists.
- Efficiently model assets that align with the game's style.
- Ensure proper integration of graphic assets in the game.
- Help conceptualize ideas and processes to develop the best plan of action.
- Meet with clients, designers, and producers to review projects, deadlines, and agree on development timelines.
Requirements
- Art education degree.
- 5+ years of experience in game development, interpreting concepts, modeling, and texturing assets.
- Software experience such as 3ds Max or Maya.
- Experience in Unity.
- Experience in animating assets is a plus.
- Efficient and fast UV mapping skills.
- Superior eye for light, shade, color, and detail in crafting texture maps and materials.
- Good hand-painted texturing skill.
- Excellent ability to prototype and craft block-out assets.
- Ability to understand the needs of a project and stay within the style of the project.
- Proficiently communicates with team members (Concept Artists, Art Directors), Production, Design, and other departments.
