About the Position

Wizcorp is seeking a 3D Background Artist to join our team for next-generation gaming projects. As a 3D background artist, you will be responsible for creating immersive game environments that enhance the overall gaming experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with planners and programmers to design and produce game backgrounds
• Create 3D background models, including modeling, sculpting, texturing, and setup
• Provide technical support for 3D background production

Requirements

⭐ Must-Have Skills ⭐

• Proficiency in Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Houdini, and other DCC tools
• Experience with background modeling using Unity or Unreal Engine
• Knowledge of shaders and scripts
• Understanding of high-end 3D graphics

👍 Nice to Have 👍

• English proficiency and experience in environments where English is required
• Leadership and project management experience
• Experience in coordinating with external companies
• Desire to work as a 3D modeler on a global scale

The salary range for a 3D Background Artist is:

• JPY 3,600,000 - JPY 6,000,000 per year (Monthly: JPY 300,000 - JPY 500,000)

Your starting salary will be determined based on your experience and performance in the interview.

The first six months will be a probationary period, but your salary will remain unchanged during this time.

💹 Salary Review and Bonuses 💹

• Annual performance review and salary adjustments based on experience and project contributions.
• Salary increases are typically in October-November based on the next year's budget and financial forecast.
• No annual bonuses.

• Weekends and public holidays
• Summer and winter breaks: 5 days each (paid, after probation period)
• Annual leave: 10 days per year (after probation period)
