About the Position

Wizcorp is seeking a Senior 3D Background Artist for a next-generation gaming project, offering a global role with a flexible work environment. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse art styles from around the world, enriching your own experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with planners and programmers to design and create game backgrounds according to the game design.
• Create 3D background models, including modeling, sculpting, texturing, and setup.
• Provide technical support for 3D background production.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• 7+ years of experience in background modeling in the gaming industry.
• Proficiency in Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Houdini, Unity, and Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of shaders and scripting.
• Understanding of high-end 3DCG graphics.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in English and experience in English-speaking production environments.
• Experience in project leadership and management.
• Experience in coordinating with external companies.
• Experience working as a 3D modeler on a global scale.

We Offer

• Location: Tokyo, Japan (Remote)
• Work Hours: Flexible working hours
• Salary: ¥6,000,000 - ¥8,400,000 per year (¥500,000 - ¥700,000 per month)
• Benefits:
