About the Position

We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, and results-driven Product Development Manager specializing in taxes and customs to join our Products team in the Warsaw office. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our cross-border logistics business by leading the development of new products, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding our partners' base worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target prospective partners of logistics services;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and key decision-makers;
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities;
  • Develop and execute effective cross-border e-commerce logistics products and achieve company goals and objectives;
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure new business;
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices;
  • Travel to meet with partners and attend industry events as required;
  • Manage budgets related to product development activities and ensure they are within the company’s financial objectives;
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess individual and product team effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly;
  • Analyze customers’ existing cross-border models to develop and implement the best cross-border logistics products that align with the company’s growth objectives;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective partners to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty;
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the cross-border e-commerce logistics sector;
  • Use market insights to guide product and service development;
  • Lead contract negotiations and pricing strategies to maximize profitability and competitiveness;
  • Analyze legislations and current changes concerning B2C aspects of business;
  • Collaborate with legal and finance departments to finalize agreements.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
  • A track record of building and managing high-performing product development teams;
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce logistics, international shipping, customs regulations, and supply chain operations;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to establish long-term partnerships;
  • The ability to make the best possible decisions and develop new solutions for business through establishing and maintaining strong relationships with partners;
  • Experience in customs clearance processes for international traffic (mostly for B2C);
  • Experience in deals with customs brokers, communication with customs authorities, consulting companies;
  • Knowledge of international B2C legislation (customs clearance, taxation, product compliance, etc.);
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred);
  • Experience in cross-border e-commerce logistics solutions will be a “+”;
  • Fluent English (knowledge of Polish, Ukrainian, and other European languages will be a big plus).
