3rd Assistant Engineer

Support the maintenance and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment onboard the vessel.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and preventive/corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment
- Assist with the maintenance of power generation, cooling, lubrication, and fuel systems
- Diagnose and repair failures in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
- Maintenance of marine equipment (cranes, pumps, valves, thrusters, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with the Asset Integrity Management (AIM) system
- Prepare accurate and timely technical reports
- Apply work permit requirements and safety procedures
- Participate in audits and follow up on corrective actions
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure safe operations
- Monitor the use of materials and spare parts
- Comply with the company's safety and environmental policies
Requirements
- Valid 3rd Assistant Engineer License
- Previous experience in the maritime industry
