About the Position

RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports, and entertainment sectors. We are seeking a 5G Software Integration Engineer (m/f/d) to join our innovative team and contribute to the seamless integration of wireless technologies into our product platform.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the integration of wireless technologies into the overall product platform.
• Ensure interoperability between hardware, firmware, and software throughout the development lifecycle.
• Act as a technical focal point, facilitating collaboration between RF, Software, Hardware, and Product teams.
• Drive the resolution of complex technical issues and support root cause analysis across engineering disciplines.
• Support system qualification, validation, and release readiness activities.
• Maintain and enhance system-level documentation, including architecture, interfaces, and integration concepts.
• Contribute to system integration, test automation, and CI/CD processes.
• Identify technical risks early and support mitigation activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Experience with complex embedded, distributed, and communication-driven systems.
• Proven expertise in software integration, system engineering, and end-to-end system validation.
• Good understanding of mobile communication technologies, networking concepts, and Linux-based environments.
• Experience with Kotlin and C++ as well as system-level debugging and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks, CI/CD processes, and modern software development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex cross-functional technical challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in international development teams; fluent English required, German is a plus.
