The Role

We’re growing fast in Italy, where Ideals is already a leading name in the M&A space. To accelerate the next chapter of our VDR growth, we’re looking for a highly motivated Account Executive (Business Development Associate) based in Milan who will join our three on-the-ground teammates.

As a front-line, quota-carrying team member, you will actively reach out to 30-40 new customers monthly, overseeing a pipeline with 50+ opportunities. You’ll engage with senior decision-makers and rising professionals, acting as a trusted advisor and demonstrating how Ideals streamlines dealmaking. With our ongoing global expansion, this is your opportunity to grow professionally and financially.


Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle with strategic Italian accounts – from prospecting to closing
  • Drive new business by engaging key decision-makers and hitting your targets
  • Execute go-to-market strategy for Italy in close partnership with Sales & Marketing
  • Take part in arranging M&A Community events to strengthen Ideals’ brand presence
  • Deliver impactful product presentations and guide prospects with insights that support their success
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success and Inside Sales to maximize client value and revenue
  • Be a voice of the customer – sharing product feedback that helps shape our roadmap

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a full 360 sales cycle within the B2B or professional services sector
  • Willingness and ability to conduct face-to-face meetings with clients
  • A track record of successfully managing pipelines and closing high-value deals
  • Exceptional business communication skills to structure persuasive pitches and navigate client discovery
  • Can-do attitude with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Native-level proficiency in Italian, and C1 level in English

  • SaaS, Financial or Fintech industry background/degree
