Account Manager

About the Position

Continental is seeking an Account Manager to identify and implement profitable business opportunities with customers in China. This role is pivotal in ensuring long-term, technologically leading partnerships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the China region.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for identifying and implementing profitable business opportunities with all relevant customers
• Support strategic sales planning, annual budget, and monthly forecasts, ensuring their implementation
• Develop the OEMs in the China region in compliance with the business strategy
• Represent Continental on customer events and care for the OEMs on Continental events
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers at customers
• Support the Supply Chain Management (SCM) process to ensure timely delivery of tires to customers
• Manage tire development projects for Original Equipment (OE) customers
• Act as a technical liaison between OE customers and the tire development team
• Support customer complaint handling activities
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or relevant subjects
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in tire development, automotive engineering, or account management
• Project management skills
• Strong skills in problem solving and negotiation
• Fluent in local and English languages
