At Adyen, we provide payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. We are the financial technology platform of choice. Our Account Management team is critical to the growth and success of our business, as well as expanding the Adyen brand across the globe. We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Account Manager to join our team in Paris.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration: Work closely with your team and collaborate on many different accounts, as well as working individually with your own strategic merchants.
• Relationship management: Build trust with our merchants, to minimize churn and develop strong partnerships with your contacts.
• Commercial acumen: Proactively spot opportunities and drive commercial discussions with our merchants, to help grow their accounts and meet financial targets.
• Project management: Prioritize and manage short and long term projects with varying timelines across multiple accounts, leveraging internal support teams where relevant.
• Feedback: Serve as a feedback loop for your customers internally, and leverage your network to help improve our product and merchant experience.

Requirements

• Enjoy engaging others and developing strong working relationships internally and externally with customers.
• Passionate about working on a wide portfolio of accounts and having the opportunity to learn about many aspects of the payments industry.
• Eager to challenge yourself to identify commercial opportunities and drive commercial discussions with customers.
• Strong time management skills and constantly looking for ways to work efficiently.

Additional Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in a client-facing/commercial role, selling complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial services (specifically payments).
• Full professional written and verbal proficiency in French and English.
• Some domestic and international travel is required.
