About the Position

Account Manager - HUB DACH

As Account Manager for Austria and Switzerland, you’ll be the driving force behind Materialise HUB DACH’s growth in these markets - developing business, fostering customer loyalty, and strengthening our brand visibility. Acting as the link between our customers and expert manufacturing teams, you’ll take full ownership of the market, turning opportunities into measurable success.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the success of our business in Austria and Switzerland
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring continuity and trust
  • Hunter mentality: identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities in Austria and Switzerland
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to boost brand awareness
  • Provide responsive, locally based support to address client inquiries, issues, and needs quickly and effectively
  • Demonstrate strong self-organization in managing priorities, pipelines, and market activities with minimal supervision
  • Understand and adapt to local market requirements, cultural nuances, and competitive landscapes
  • Collaborate with internal technical and production teams within our Manufacturing business unit to deliver customized solutions, especially in serial production projects
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategy and positioning

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or other technically sophisticated industries
  • Track record in managing an independent market or territory with measurable commercial success
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across cultural contexts
  • Strong ability to self-organize, set priorities, and execute plans autonomously
  • Knowledge of the Austrian and/or Swiss markets, including industry-specific dynamics
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for lead generation, market research, and relationship building
  • Proficient in CRM systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics and/or Salesforce, with a solid understanding of how to manage pipelines, accounts, and reporting
  • Fluency in German and English; French/Italian is a plus
  • Willingness to travel within Austria and Switzerland as needed
