Account Manager - New Vertical
Location: Rome, Italy
Deliveroo, now part of DoorDash, is a global team with greater reach, scale, and ambition. Join our Commercial team in Rome to manage strategic partnerships and drive growth in the quick-commerce landscape.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Management: Act as the primary consultant for a portfolio of small and medium retail partners, building deep, long-term relationships.
- Growth Consulting: Use data manipulation and analysis to identify trends, increasing profitability and growth for both partners and Deliveroo.
- Revenue Generation: Drive commercial value through upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities within your portfolio.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to develop and implement bespoke solutions that solve partner challenges.
- Operational Excellence: Serve as the main point of contact for strategic partners, addressing complex issues with professional, timely, and scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Significant commercial experience, with a background in retail, FMCG, or high-growth technology companies.
- Knowledge of the food retail industry, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within the grocery sector.
- Proven ability to manage long-term relationships with strategic stakeholders and global brands.
- Professional fluency in English to collaborate with our global teams and partners.
We Offer
- Competitive Salary: Base salary range is €31,320 – €37,000, with a total target compensation (OTE) of €36,000 – €45,000 gross per year.
