Job description

About the Position

Join Hilscher's German sales team as an Account Manager, a key role in our mission to lead industrial communication.

We’ve made a name for ourselves with global recognition through the connecting of factories and plants across the globe, and by enabling machines to communicate with each other. As the market leader in industrial communications, we offer our customers the best solution. We’re constantly growing and we want to continue doing so well into the future. To help us achieve our mission, we need support on the ground from sales professionals like you.

For our German sales team, we’re looking for an Account Manager.

As a second-generation, family-owned and operated business, Hilscher is one of the world’s leading and most successful technology and solution providers in industrial automation. It is our mission to shape the future of industrial communication with our know-how, experience, and innovation. In what is an increasingly connected world, we work every day to unleash the full potential of industrial communication.

We know that our teamwork is the key to success! That’s why committed and inspired employees are at the heart of what we do.

You’re a Hunter

You’re good at recognizing new opportunities with existing customers and have a sixth sense when it comes to harvesting new customer potential. You know how to take advantage of these opportunities and unlock their potential.

You’re a Partner

Being able to offer customers good advice and support is the best foundation for a long-term business relationship. You know that and that’s how you conduct yourself. You’re a true partner and work well in the team and with our customers to continuously improve our solutions and services.

You’re an Organizer

You’ll be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from the offer to the follow-up and closing out the contract. You’ll be working closely with colleagues from other departments. You’ll be in charge of reliably carrying out the planning, organizing, and attending of customer appointments and visits, including the documenting of all information in the CRM system.

You’re a Communicator

You’ll attend regional trade fairs and events, and you’ll also present our solutions and services to the customer in a confident and convincing manner.

We carry the Hilscher DNA to our customers and partners. We work as a team independently and cooperatively. Close cooperation with many different areas, both internally and externally, keeps things interesting. Our solutions are groundbreaking for industrial development. Both the market and we as market leaders are growing. That’s why there will continue to be many exciting challenges and responsibilities moving forward which will require highly skilled sales professionals who are passionate, committed, and have their own ideas. We look forward to meeting you!
