About the Position
Google is seeking an Account Manager, Travel to join our team in Chicago, IL, USA, focusing on maximizing customer success through innovative advertising solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with account executives, specialists, and cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day client and agency relationships, aligning Google's solutions with their business and marketing objectives.
- Help clients navigate the transition to AI-driven and agentic travel solutions, focusing on first-party data, personalizing the user experience, implementing app strategies, and managing loyalty opportunities.
- Build and present data-driven recommendations and value-delivered narratives to protect in-quarter business and identify growth opportunities.
- Oversee campaign implementation, optimization, and account hygiene to ensure high-quality execution and timely delivery of client projects.
- Develop deep expertise in Google's advertising products and travel solutions to translate client goals into actionable campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in sales, business development, advertising, account management, marketing, or consulting.
- Experience or interest in the travel industry, including emerging trends, AI technologies, personalization, and loyalty programs.
- Understanding of the Google Marketing Platform Ecosystem and product expertise or existing knowledge of Google’s core advertising solutions (Search, Video, Display, App).
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve problems with curiosity and resilience.
- Strong investigative, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
