About the Position
A reputable global manufacturing firm with extensive operations across the Asia-Pacific region is seeking a finance professional with prior experience managing the India market to join their team in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Managing the full spectrum of month-end closing activities in alignment with corporate and local reporting requirements.
- Conducting comprehensive financial analysis, including cost, profit, and variance tracking.
- Executing regular ledger control tasks such as banking, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Managing direct and indirect India tax compliance, ensuring timely statutory filings.
- Leading year-end audit procedures and local transfer pricing documentation.
Requirements
- University degree in accountancy or finance.
- At least five years of professional experience in accounting and taxation.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting frameworks and tax legislation compliance specific to the India market.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and a meticulous approach to meeting tight deadlines independently.
