About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Accountant with a focus on financial accounting to join our team in Salzburg, Austria. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and managing tax-related matters.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of annual financial statements for Austrian companies in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB);
- Participation in monthly financial statements in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and IFRS;
- Calculation and posting of provisions;
- Processing of tax-related matters (support with tax returns, UVA, etc.);
- Participation in ongoing general ledger accounting;
- Representation in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Requirements
- All-rounder in financial accounting with a focus on accounting;
- Completed commercial training with a focus on accounting/financial reporting;
- Certified public accountant examination or certified public accountant training;
- Sound commercial professional experience;
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel);
- Structured, number-oriented, and analytical thinking;
- Ability to work in a team and be solution-oriented;
- Very good written and spoken English and German skills.
