Accountant (Group / Management Reporting)

We are looking for an Accountant (Group / Management Reporting) to join our controlling team.

The main focus of the role is to ensure the quality of management data: maintain management accounting, participate in period closing, and prepare management reporting.

This position is suitable for a specialist who understands accounting logic and the relationship between financial statements, confidently works with management entries, and wants to develop at the intersection of accounting, controlling, and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Reflect transactions in accounting based on primary documents, bank statements, and other financial data.
• Collect, transform, and verify accounting data for management reporting purposes.
• Maintain management analytics and support the necessary detail of financial data.
• Perform management accruals, reclassifications, and eliminations.
• Allocate expenses between Units and Projects.
• Participate in the budgeting process, including the preparation and updating of budget files, templates, and financial data.
• Participate in the improvement and automation of management accounting and reporting processes.

Requirements

• Practical experience in accounting or management accounting and a confident understanding of the logic of Debit/Credit.
• Ability to independently form and verify management entries of varying complexity: accruals, reclassifications, intercompany eliminations.
• Deep understanding of the structure and relationship between P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or other ERP/accounting systems, understanding of the principles of working with Chart of Accounts (CoA) and mapping tables.
• Practical use of AI tools in daily work for automating routine tasks, processing data, and improving process efficiency.
• Ability to analyze the economic essence of transactions, work with various types of primary documents, and determine the correct approach to their reflection in management accounting.
• Practical understanding of transformational entries and the principles of cost allocation between Units and Projects.
• Systematic approach, attention to detail, and the ability to independently find and resolve discrepancies in data.

Nice to Have

• Experience with management reporting and the month-end closing process.
• Experience working in companies with multiple legal entities or complex intra-group transactions.
• Experience in automating financial processes and working with large sets of financial data.
• Understanding of the specifics of digital businesses and project accounting.
