About the Position

Accounting & Finance Specialist

We are looking for an Accounting & Finance Specialist to join our innovative fintech team at CloudWalk. This role is fully remote and based in São Paulo, Brazil. The ideal candidate will manage core accounting routines, support the evolution of our financial processes, and ensure the quality of our accounting close. This position requires a technical, analytical, and business-oriented profile, capable of connecting the financial impacts of operations to accounting records, financial statements, and management indicators.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly, semi-annual, and annual accounting close.
• Execute and review accounting reconciliations, journal entries, provisions, reclassifications, and analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Support the correct application of Brazilian accounting standards, Central Bank of Brazil (BCB) rules, CPCs, and IFRS.
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements, explanatory notes, and management reports.
• Work with Finance and Treasury on bank reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and financial investments.
• Support FP&A in results analyses, actual vs. budget variations, budget, forecast, and understanding of the accounting and financial impacts of operations.
• Ensure that financial operations are correctly reflected in accounting.
• Handle internal and external audit requests, ensuring organization, quality, and traceability of information.
• Drive improvements to processes, internal controls, financial policies, and automation.
• Participate in the accounting and financial analysis of new products, operations, or process changes.
• Interact with partner areas to resolve operational, accounting, and financial matters with agility and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields, with a preference for Accounting.
• Active CRC or in the process of obtaining it, if the degree is in Accounting.
• Experience in accounting close and analysis of accounting accounts.
• Knowledge of CPCs, BR GAAP, BACEN GAAP, and IFRS.
• Experience with financial routines, treasury, bank reconciliation, cash flow, or interface with FP&A.
• Experience with external audit.
• Advanced Excel.
• Analytical ability to interpret accounting and financial numbers.
• Good communication, organization, ownership mindset, and focus on continuous improvement.
• Proven experience in leveraging your work with AI.

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintechs, banks, payment companies, financial institutions, or regulated companies.
• Knowledge of COSIF, Bacen, or standards applicable to the financial sector.
• Experience with ERPs, BI tools, databases, or process automation.
• Knowledge of SAP (Public, HANA, and S/4).
• Knowledge of SQL (creating and running queries).
• Participation in projects involving the structuring of internal controls, accounting close, or financial processes.
• Advanced English.
