Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) - 18-Month Fixed-Term Contract

We are looking for an Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) to join our Finance team on an 18-month fixed-term contract in Łomianki, Poland. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with process improvement and business collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Owning core accounting activities, ensuring accurate and compliant financial records
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, reporting, and statutory requirements
• Managing supplier payments, reconciliations, and customer account balances
• Preparing accounting documentation, tax-related information, and financial reports
• Working closely with Sales and other business functions to support day-to-day operations
• Collaborating with external accounting providers and ensuring high-quality service delivery
• Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline financial processes
• Helping ensure compliance with Polish accounting regulations, Group policies, and internal controls

Requirements

• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role
• Fluent Polish (essential) and good written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of Polish accounting regulations
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• A highly organised and accurate approach, with strong attention to detail
• The ability to manage priorities and work independently while building strong relationships across the business
• Experience with IFS and/or Symfonia ERP systems would be an advantage
• Accounting or finance qualifications would be beneficial
