Your Role as Accountmanager IT

How do you ensure clarity and peace in client relationships while the organization grows?

Sales manager, Accountmanager, Sales Consultant, and so on. You can give the position many different titles, but at Quality, we like to keep it simple and to the point. Your task is to expand Quality's business. As an Accountmanager IT at Quality, you are responsible for maintaining and expanding client relationships and creating assignments through existing networks and partner channels. In a market where IT is constantly changing, you see where opportunities arise. You liaise with decision-makers, identify needs, and translate these into concrete assignments for our consultants. At the same time, this role goes beyond account management alone. You also play an active role in further professionalizing Quality's commercial organization. You think along about the multi-year sales strategy, help to structure commercial processes, and contribute to the smarter use of tools such as Salesforce.

  • You are the fixed point of contact for clients, monitor ongoing engagements, and act promptly when contracts expire.
  • You recognize commercial opportunities within accounts and bring the right professional to the table to help clients further.
  • You direct the commercial process and connect client questions directly to the right expertise within Quality.
  • You bring structure to the pipeline, forecasting, and follow-up.

A glimpse into your daily activities

In your role, you are responsible for overview, continuity, and targeted growth within client relationships. You are involved in:

  • Proactively realizing new assignments, projects, and revenue from existing (strategic) accounts, both from ongoing engagements and accounts where engagement is (yet) latent.

  • Actively gathering hiring needs from hiring managers, for direct deployment and upcoming or longer-term projects.

  • Realizing new business on incoming issues through partner channels and ICT frameworks by linking them to the right expertise.

  • Directing contract renewals and switching promptly for expiring or changing engagements.

  • Opening new contacts and decision-makers within existing accounts and conducting conversations with new clients with clear commercial potential.

Requirements

What you bring

You take ownership of accounts and commercial results. You understand how IT consultancy works and know that growth comes from accuracy, speed, and keeping promises. You maintain an overview, switch quickly, and execute actions:

  • 3-5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within IT consultancy or staffing.
  • Independent, forward-looking, and able to maintain an overview, even when many things are happening at once.
  • You work structured, switch quickly, and keep a grip on your pipeline and actions.
  • Insight into the dynamics between client, expertise, and organization and acting on it practically.
  • Early recognition of signals and translating them into concrete next steps.
  • You have a relevant and active network within enterprise environments, government, and/or large organizations, and know how to use this network effectively.

What We Offer

You will receive a fixed contract for 40 hours per week. Because we trust in your expertise as an Accountmanager IT, we offer you the following for a full-time employment:

  • A good salary, aligned with your knowledge and experience between €4,000 and €6,000.
  • An additional bonus scheme based on results, up to a maximum of 24% of the annual salary.
