Responsibilities

The Accounts Officer will be responsible for the AR function for the Melbourne business while having the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Leadership Team across the Australian business while you develop your career in Finance.

The primary tasks of the role will include but not be limited to:

• Daily reconciliation of customer payments received as per remittances and bank deposits
• Investigate and resolve customer queries and process customer rebates, claims, and credit notes
• Maintain customer account details, contact information, and credit status
• Produce month-end customer account reports
• Assist the finance team with costings and prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts

Requirements

• In their final year of completing their degree in Business or Finance or a recent graduate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience working with QAD and/or SAP
• High attention to detail
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Continuous learning mindset
