Accounts Payable Supervisor

About the Position

Dentsply Sirona in Bratislava is a young shared services center based in a beautiful building Einpark, just minutes away from the Danube and the city center. Every day, we empower millions of customers by proudly creating innovative solutions for healthy smiles. We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing of all vendor disbursements for assigned Dentsply Sirona business units, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with corporate policies.
• Ensure that all Accounts Payable aged items are accurately and timely reconciled, actioned, and resolved.
• Focus on continuous process improvements, growth in efficiency, and partner with other team members to expedite projects.
• Review quarterly cross-divisional invoice audits and notify the Accounts Payable Manager of any unusual activity.
• Communicate with Procurement, Finance, and Operations to resolve business matters and discuss the status of vendor accounts.
• Coordinate daily activities and assign tasks to team members, monitor their execution, and support the team in resolving issues.
• Provide regular feedback on performance and suggest improvements if required.
• Measure team performance and productivity using IT tool reports and ensure compliance with agreed strategies.
• Coach, develop individuals within the team, and address performance gaps.
• Manage strategic accounts and handle related tasks.
• Initiate, coordinate, and drive continuous improvement projects as per operations objectives.
• Support the direct manager with daily issues and operational tasks.
• Participate in internal projects assigned within the organization.
• Cross-train with personnel in other functional areas as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel (data and pivots, macros, and VBA are welcomed).
• SAP experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience or similar relevant accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of current versions of Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate the transition and work of AP specialists.
• Commitment to high performance, timely issue resolution, and delivery of results.
• Motivated self-starter with strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
