About the Position
We are looking for an Accounts Payables and Processing Associate to join our team at One Sutherland in Red Hills Road, Jamaica. This full-time position involves managing invoices and disbursements to ensure timely payments and compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Review invoices/disbursements to determine the level of approval needed and if payment can be granted.
- Ensure proper documentation accompanies invoices/disbursements for audit purposes.
- Research and review duplicate invoices in the internal processing system.
- Maintain knowledge of program and handle changes in company policies.
- Meet personal and team goals.
- Process Tier 1 and Tier 2 Reimbursements.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Minimum of 3-4 CXC/GCE/City & Guilds subjects inclusive of English Language and a Numeric Subject (Mathematics or Principles of Accounts), or a U.S. high school diploma or GED.
- Understanding of Accounts Payables and Reimbursements.
- Valid government-issued ID, TRN, and NIS card.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Flexible availability to work any day and any assigned shift weekly (weekends and public holidays).
- Ability to train and/or work onsite at our Red Hills Road site.
- 1 year of BPO/customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and high degree of integrity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task, and manage time.
- Basic PC keyboarding skills; basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) experience required.
- Ability to type over 30 WPM with 80% accuracy.
- Very tech-savvy with strong abilities in handling troubleshooting techniques and resolving technical issues.
