Actuarial Analyst (General Insurance)

At Allianz Insurance, we are looking for an Actuarial Analyst (General Insurance) to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will be responsible for performing actuarial analysis, developing and maintaining actuarial models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide valuable insights to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support the Appointed Actuary in the valuation of insurance liabilities, preparation of Financial Condition Reports, and any other statutory and financial reporting.
• Provide support to the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and any other capital management matters.
• Provide statistical and analytical support to other business units.
• Maintain systems, processes, and documentation to ensure the delivery of quality actuarial advice and outputs.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science or another Mathematics/Statistics-based major.
• Fresh graduates and talents with up to 4 years of relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.
• Good progress in internationally recognized actuarial examinations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer application skills, e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Strong Python coding skills are an added advantage.
• Proficient in the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar technologies to enhance productivity and work quality.
