Actuarial Consultant (Non-Life) | f/m/d

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining actuarial reserving and analysis tools
• Analyzing data and results to ensure the quality of our financial statements
• Supporting the central team during the quarterly closing and forecast processes
• Monitoring and reporting on reserving KPIs to senior actuaries and other stakeholders
• Participating in constant knowledge transfer, understanding dependencies to derive appropriate analysis approaches
• Preparing relevant actuarial data and designing and developing automation scripts when needed

Requirements

• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Graduate degree in Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable quantitative field
• Excellent technical and analytical skills, structured way of thinking, logical and concise approach, and high attention to detail
• High ability and willingness to understand technical as well as functional dependencies
• Open-minded, proactive, and well-organized, with problem-solving abilities, capable of prioritizing workload and team player
• Self-motivated and self-dependent, willingness to develop further
• High intercultural competency and willingness to travel internationally
• Intrigued to work in an international environment
• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office package

Nice to Have

• Actuarial qualification and work experience in local or international GAAP (IFRS4, IFRS17, Solvency II)
