Responsibilities

Container Management: Modify, manage, and provide containers as a service / Kubernetes, including storage classes, load balancing, autoscaling, port mapping, worker addition, node groups, virtual networks, and container and volume resizing.
IAM Management: Manage permissions, roles, and access in container services (EKS, AKS, ECS, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker).
CI/CD Operations: Modify IaC scripts and environment variables in ArgoCD, GIT, and Terraform.
Automated Deployments: Execute automated deployments via GitOps.
CI/CD Adjustments: Adjust and manage CI/CD environment changes.
IaC Pipelines: Execute IaC pipelines in production environments and eliminate drift in IaC.
Serverless Functions: Manage, modify, and develop serverless functions (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions) and their association with other services, including IAM permissions management.
Cloud Orchestration: Manage and modify cloud-native orchestration services and their integration with compute, network/security, storage, notifications, messaging, and monitoring.
Messaging Services: Manage and modify messaging services, including queues, topics, and subscriptions.
Backup and Restore: Manage backup and restore configurations for containers and orchestration services.
Monitoring and Incident Management: Monitor services under scope, manage incidents and requests according to defined procedures, and track events and logs in ServiceNow Aurora.
Component Tagging: Update component tagging and prepare performance reports and analysis.
GIT Capabilities: Plan and report on GIT capabilities.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for the supported IaC/Serverless environment.
Incident Coordination: Coordinate incidents with cloud provider support.
IaC Architecture: Create IaC architecture using Terraform and Ansible, including the management of provisioned resource stacks.
Compliance Templates: Create templates for managing large-scale compliance configurations.
Cloud Integrations: Manage and modify integrations via websockets or native cloud resources, including API gateways, key management, and route keys.
Container Hardening: Apply approved public cloud container hardening by AVC and implement vendor recommendations, including patches and hotfixes.
Vulnerability Remediation: Execute vulnerability remediations directed by the AVC cybersecurity team.
Security Agents: Install security agents and manage digital certificate installation or renewal according to AVC guidelines.
Level 2 Support: Provide level 2 (N2) support for deployment and IaC-related issues, diagnosing and resolving incidents, and supporting other IT teams in incidents and integrations.

Exclusive Requirements

Advanced Kubernetes and container management in production (EKS/AKS/ECS and/or OpenShift): autoscaling, node groups, virtual networks, storage, and container IAM.
Design and creation of IaC architecture with Terraform (modules, workspaces, and state management).
Execution of IaC pipelines in production, including drift management.
End-to-end CI/CD operation with GitLab and/or Azure DevOps and ArgoCD/GitOps.
Administration of at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP) at the compute, network, storage, and IAM service level.
Experience leading technical support N2 and coordinating critical incidents in 24x7 schemes.
Technical English (reading documentation and written communication).
Flexibility to work from 9 AM to 6 PM or 10 AM to 7 PM.
Availability for passive on-call duty one week per month (paid).
Availability to work on Argentine holidays that do not coincide with those in Colombia.
