Match Profiler is an Information Systems consulting firm, working in the national and international market since 1999. We are empowered with multidisciplinary competences and know-how in IT, which allow us to contribute, optimize and move forward with our clients.

We are currently looking for a Linux Systems Administrator – Hybrid (Lisboa) to join one of our clients' teams.

Responsibilities

System Administration: Manage and maintain Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
Containerization: Install, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
Automation and IaC: Implement automation using Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps.
Monitoring and Observability: Utilize Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and ELK for monitoring and observability.
Scripting: Write scripts in Bash, Python, or Go.
Cloud Security: Implement security in cloud-native environments (RBAC, network policies, certificates).
Cloud Services: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Core Linux Services: Manage DNS, NFS, Apache/Nginx, systemd, etc.
CI/CD and Networking: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, container runtime, and networking in Kubernetes.

Requirements

Hard Skills:
- 3 to 10 years of experience in Linux system administration.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Ansible, Terraform, GitOps, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, Bash, Python, Go, RBAC, cloud security, AWS, Azure, GCP, core Linux services, CI/CD, microservices, SRE, cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps, and automated security policies.
- Certifications: CKA, CKAD, RHCE, AWS SysOps, Terraform Associate (valued).
Soft Skills:
- Good communication skills.
