Administrator Middleware

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Administrator to manage and develop J2EE application environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Administration, maintenance, and development of middleware environments and J2EE application servers
• Monitoring the availability and performance of business systems
• Analyzing logs and diagnosing and resolving production incidents
• Deploying applications, configuration changes, and new software versions
• Configuring application connections to databases and other systems
• Analyzing application performance, Java virtual machines, connection pools, and other application server resources
• Supporting development and project teams in deploying and maintaining applications
• Participating in designing solutions that ensure high availability and scalability of systems
• Automating repetitive administrative tasks and deployment processes
• Updating systems in accordance with security requirements and implementing audit recommendations

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in administering J2EE application servers such as Oracle WebLogic Server, JBoss, or similar solutions
• Knowledge of three-tier architecture and communication principles between the presentation, application, and database layers
• Knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, and JDBC configuration, data sources, and connection pools
• Ability to analyze application logs and diagnose performance and availability issues
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of tools for testing and diagnosing SOAP and REST services and authentication and authorization mechanisms, particularly OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, and WS-Security
• English proficiency at a level that allows for using technical documentation
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Middleware, especially Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus, and Oracle Forms and Reports, is a plus
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases is a plus
• Ability to create scripts for automation in Bash, Python, or WLST is a plus
• Knowledge of log monitoring and analysis tools such as Dynatrace or Splunk is a plus
