Adobe Commerce Front-End Developer

About the Position

We are looking for a talented Adobe Commerce Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development for Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento) and a keen eye for creating responsive, user-friendly e-commerce experiences. You will work closely with our design and back-end development teams to bring our e-commerce platforms to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize front-end interfaces for Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) websites.
• Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly e-commerce experiences.
• Ensure the website is responsive and performs well across different devices and browsers.
• Implement best practices for front-end performance optimization.
• Work with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with the Adobe Commerce platform.
• Maintain and update existing front-end codebases as required.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in front-end development.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high standard of code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues that arise during development or after deployment.
• Create and maintain documentation for front-end processes and components.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Front-End Developer, with a portfolio showcasing Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) projects.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
• Familiarity with front-end performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of e-commerce best practices, including SEO and accessibility.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Hyvä Themes.
• Experience with PWA development and implementation.
• Adobe Certified Expert – Adobe Commerce Front-End Developer.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-based hosting environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
