Advanced IT Technician

About the Position

We are looking for an Advanced IT Technician to join our team in Lappeenranta, Finland. This role involves troubleshooting and solving data center IT hardware issues. This is a full-time position working day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Solve challenging hardware-related issues with servers, involving in-depth advanced level troubleshooting
• Involved in hardware problem management, workarounds, and solutions
• Solve proactively L1/L2 tasks through the ticket system
• Update new processes and documentation for the IT hardware team
• Collaborate with L3 Technician to improve SLA with complex diagnostics
• Improve support processes, documentation, and training materials
• Basic level of network tasks, troubleshooting, and support

Requirements

• Knowledge of datacenters and server equipment
• Advanced knowledge of IT hardware and practical experience in troubleshooting
• Advanced skills working with the Unix/Linux operating system and command line
• Experience with equipment monitoring, data analysis, and presentation
• Proactiveness and sense of responsibility
• High proficiency in spoken and written English

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of network equipment and troubleshooting at an advanced level
• Driving license type B
