Responsibilities
- Converse with the model on language scenarios
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness
- Capture reproducible error traces
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
Requirements
- Native proficiency in Afrikaans
- Master’s or PhD in Afrikaans language, linguistics, or a closely related field
- Peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or hands-on linguistic analysis projects
- Clear, metacognitive communication
Nice to Have
- Experience with advanced language models
- Knowledge of verb tense and aspect, sentence structure, word order, regional varieties, formal and informal registers, and the nuances of the Afrikaans writing system
