SumUp is seeking a Sales Agent/Broker (VAT) in the payments sector to develop our commercial network in Lazio. Build a network of active clients for recurring commissions.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Development: Conduct direct sales to businesses, restaurants, professionals, and small enterprises in Lazio.
• Client Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses through direct contact, networking, and word-of-mouth.
• Solution Presentation: Present SumUp's payment solutions, highlighting their ease of use, quick setup, operational efficiency, and cost savings.
• Client Support: Guide clients from initial conversation to solution selection and activation through a rapid, digital process.
• Follow-Up: Schedule follow-up calls and visits, recording opportunities in the Sidekick digital tool.
• Portfolio Management: Nurture client relationships to expand the client base and generate new referrals.
• Support Coordination: Manage appointments and qualified leads provided by the internal SDR team when available.

Requirements

• Experience: Professionals with direct sales experience, preferably in B2B, SMEs, retail, or HORECA sectors.
• Background: Agents from energy, telecommunications, insurance, digital services, or other sectors targeting businesses are welcome.
• Skills: Ability to independently create new business opportunities and develop relationships systematically.
• Tax Status: Active VAT number or willingness to obtain one before starting the role.
• Autonomy: Self-management of schedules and strong goal orientation.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with smartphones and digital tools.
• Availability: Stable presence and willingness to travel within the assigned area in Lazio.
• Local Network: A local contact network in retail or HORECA is a plus.

• Compensation: Commission-based earnings with no upper limit.
