SumUp is seeking agents and business developers in the Lazio region to expand our commercial network in the payments sector. This is an autonomous commercial activity primarily conducted in-person. Compensation is performance-based, including commissions on new sales and recurring commissions on customer transactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a sales territory in Lazio, focusing on direct sales to businesses, restaurants, professionals, and small enterprises.
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses through direct contact, networking, and word-of-mouth.
• Present and explain SumUp's payment solutions, highlighting their benefits such as ease of use, quick activation, reduced operational stress, and cost savings.
• Guide clients from initial conversation to solution selection and activation through a rapid and digital process.
• Schedule follow-up visits and manage opportunities using the Sidekick digital tool.
• Cultivate relationships with acquired clients to grow the portfolio and generate new referrals.
• Manage appointments and qualified leads provided by the internal SDR team when available.

Requirements

• Professionals with experience in direct sales, preferably in B2B, SMEs, retail, or HORECA sectors.
• Agents from energy, telecommunications, insurance, digital services, or other sectors targeting businesses are welcome.
• Ability to independently create new business opportunities and develop relationships with continuity and method.
• Active VAT number or willingness to obtain one before starting the activity.
• Autonomy in managing schedules and strong goal orientation.
• Familiarity with smartphones and digital tools.
• Stable presence and willingness to travel within the assigned area in Lazio.
• A local contact network in retail or HORECA is a plus.

• Compensation: Commission-based with no maximum limit, including 50% commission on the value of each product sold, a commission on the first year's turnover, and recurring monthly commissions based on net revenue.
