SumUp is seeking experienced sales agents and business brokers in the payment sector for Calabria. This role involves developing a network of active clients to generate recurring commissions.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, including shops, restaurants, and small enterprises.
• Market Presence: Actively engage with local businesses to understand their payment needs and present suitable SumUp solutions.
• Client Onboarding: Guide clients from initial conversation to solution activation, ensuring a smooth and digital process.
• Performance Tracking: Schedule follow-ups and track opportunities using the Sidekick tool.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with acquired clients to expand the client base and generate new referrals.
• Support Utilization: Leverage appointments and qualified leads provided by the internal SDR team when available.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in direct sales, preferably in B2B, retail, or HORECA sectors.
• Self-Motivation: Ability to independently create new business opportunities and maintain continuous engagement.
• Tax Compliance: Active Partita IVA or willingness to obtain one before starting the role.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage your schedule and focus on objectives.
• Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with smartphones and digital tools.
• Local Presence: Stable presence and willingness to travel within the assigned area in Calabria.

Nice to Have

• Local contacts in retail or HORECA sectors.

Compensation

• Commission Structure: 50% commission on the sale of each product, including POS, hardware, and software.
• First-Year Commission: Commission on the revenue generated by acquired clients in the first year.
• Recurring Monthly Commission: Ongoing commission based on the revenue from the existing client portfolio.
• Earnings Potential:
  • Initial Months: Average gross earnings of €3,000–€4,000 per month.
  • Established Portfolio: Average gross earnings can exceed €5,000 per month.
  • Top Performers: The top 20% of agents earn over €13,000 per month.
