SumUp is seeking independent sales agents in the payments sector in Calabria, Italy. Build a client base for recurring commissions.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, including shops, restaurants, and small enterprises.
• Market Presence: Actively engage with local businesses, leveraging direct contact, local connections, and word-of-mouth.
• Client Acquisition: Utilize provided appointments from the SDR team and independently generate new business opportunities.
• Solution Presentation: Demonstrate SumUp's payment solutions, highlighting their benefits such as ease of use, quick setup, reduced operational stress, and cost savings.
• Client Support: Guide clients from initial consultation to solution activation, ensuring a smooth and digital process.
• Follow-Up and Relationship Management: Schedule follow-up visits and maintain ongoing relationships to expand the client base and generate referrals.
• Performance Tracking: Use the Sidekick tool to record opportunities and manage client interactions.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in direct sales, preferably in B2B, retail, or HORECA sectors.
• Independence: Ability to independently create new business opportunities and build relationships.
• Tax ID: Active Partita IVA or willingness to obtain one before starting.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage your schedule and focus on objectives.
• Digital Proficiency: Comfortable using smartphones and digital tools.
• Local Presence: Stable presence and willingness to travel within the assigned area in Calabria.

Nice to Have

• Local contacts in retail or HORECA sectors.

Compensation

• Commission Structure: Based on sales results with no maximum cap.
  • 50% commission on the value of each product sold, including POS, hardware, and software.
  • Commission on the first year's revenue generated by acquired clients.
  • Monthly recurring commission on net revenue as the client base grows.
• Earnings Potential:
  • Early stage: €3,000–€4,000 gross per month.
  • Established client base: Average earnings can exceed €5,000 gross per month.
  • Top 20% of agents: Over €13,000 gross per month.
