About the Position
Agile Teams Sales Account Manager
We are seeking a high-energy, consultative salesperson who can quickly understand customer workflows, articulate Altium’s value, and guide prospects to fast, confident decisions. This role requires someone who blends relationship-building with crisp discovery, clear ROI communication, and the ability to manage a high volume of opportunities without sacrificing solution quality. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, consistently uncovers needs, and positions Altium as the essential design solution.
This position is located in Frisco, TX or La Jolla, CA offices and is on-site five days a week.
Responsibilities

Consultative Selling Strength
- Asks sharp, structured discovery questions to uncover pain, value drivers, and urgency
- Translates technical challenges into clear business outcomes
- Frames conversations around ROI, efficiency gains, and risk reduction

Fast, Efficient Deal Execution
- Comfortable operating in short sales cycles (days to weeks)
- Prioritizes efficiently and manages a large volume of opportunities
- Keeps deals moving with proactive next steps and valuable follow-up

- Explains complex workflows or features simply and compellingly
- Tailors value messaging to engineers, managers, and C-Level executives
- Confidently handles objections and closes decisively

Requirements
- Approach sales targets and all professional goals with a winning mentality and a clear focus on quality and business success
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of closing sales experience, preferably inside, telesales, or business development in software or a related technology with a proven history of exceeding targets
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organized, resilient, and tenacious with outreach, and exhibit a hunter’s focus on new relationships
- Resourceful, action-oriented, collaborative - a team player who goes all out to support your teammates
- Handle ambiguity, change, and every challenge with enthusiasm and a can-do attitude

- Expected annual pay range: $96,000
