AI Agentic Developer

About the Position

We are seeking an AI Agentic Developer to join our team in India. This role involves designing and building AI agents, agent loops, tools, and orchestration workflows. You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as Python, Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MongoDB.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI agents, agent loops, tools, and orchestration workflows.
• Develop RAG solutions with a focus on chunking strategies, metadata filtering, and controlled vocabularies.
• Implement prompt engineering, versioning, evaluation, and model reasoning frameworks.
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations using OpenAPI standards.
• Design event-driven backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MongoDB.
• Develop operational dashboards and user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Build and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS and Kubernetes.

Requirements

Competencies

• AI & Agent Engineering
• Strong Python skills, including asyncio and async/await.
• Experience with:
  • Agent architectures and agent loops.
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol).
  • Tool design and orchestration.
  • RAG implementations.
  • Prompt engineering and evaluation.
  • Familiarity with OpenAI and/or Anthropic agent frameworks and best practices.
  • Knowledge of AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, and agent orchestration frameworks such as Strands.
• Backend & Distributed Systems
  • Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with MongoDB, including document modeling, transactions, and change streams.
  • Experience with Kafka, including partitioning, consumer groups, DLQs, and delivery guarantees.
  • Understanding of:
    • Optimistic concurrency control.
    • Transactional Outbox pattern.
    • Idempotent consumers.
    • Exactly-once processing.
    • Event-driven architectures.
• Frontend & Cloud
  • Experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and AWS cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise AI platforms or agent-based applications.
• Strong understanding of distributed system consistency and reliability patterns.
