Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements
About the Position
Our client is a product-focused company building AI solutions for businesses that want to move from experimentation to real operational impact. They work on practical AI adoption, helping clients design and implement intelligent systems that improve workflows, automate manual processes, and create measurable business value in production environments.
They are looking for an AI Consultant to lead their flagship 12-month embedded engagements, taking full ownership of the AI agenda on behalf of the client's leadership team. This is a long-term strategic role, not short-term sprint work. It involves a steady weekly rhythm of stakeholder interviews, workshops, governance implementation, and capability sessions designed to compound value over months. The role requires someone who can seamlessly maintain this rhythm, build strong trust with senior executives, and excel in high-stakes environments. The ideal candidate already uses AI tools as a core part of their daily workflow to move faster, think deeper, and deliver high-impact work that sets new benchmarks in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead the operating rhythm of embedded engagements, including weekly capability drop-ins, monthly cross-functional steering sessions, and quarterly re-baselines.
- Run structured stakeholder interviews across the C-suite, department heads, and operational leads.
- Co-facilitate leadership workshops and department-level hackathons.
- Build and populate the leave-behind platform installed in week one, ensuring clients see visible progress every month.
- Deliver AI Health Assessments end to end, both as standalone engagements and as part of month one of every embedded partnership.
- Scope and support the deployment of the first autonomous agent in every partnership, focusing on configuration over code.
- Deliver shorter-form work alongside the team across AI Foundations, AI Governance, and strategic advisory, taking ownership of well-defined workstreams and growing into more autonomy over time.
- Shape new programs of work where you spot a gap, and sharpen existing ones based on what you learn in the field.
- Use AI tools daily to prepare for interviews, analyze transcripts, identify patterns, and accelerate synthesis. Spot opportunities to make our delivery itself faster and sharper through better use of AI internally.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years in consulting, advisory, or a comparable client-facing delivery role.
- Ability to hold your own in a room with senior leaders. Direct without being abrasive, warm without being soft. Clients already take you seriously.
- A structured thinker. You take scattered inputs and produce ordered, defensible outputs. You see patterns in messy data without losing the nuance.
- Versatile. Interviews, facilitation, deliverable production, governance docs, agent scoping. You move between modes without dropping quality.
- A builder, not just a deliverer. You don't just run the playbook, you make it better.
- A daily user of AI tools in your own work. Genuinely curious about how AI is reshaping how businesses operate, and that curiosity comes through with clients.
- Reliable. People trust you to deliver. No drama, no surprises.
- A self-starter with startup energy. You shape the work as much as you execute it, and you're comfortable with the recurring nature of embedded delivery rather than six-week sprint cycles.
- At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English, both written and spoken.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with technology adoption, change management, or digital transformation programs.
- Familiarity with maturity assessment frameworks, scoring methodologies, or governance frameworks.
- Background in data governance, data strategy, or AI strategy work.
- Experience presenting or co-facilitating in front of senior client audiences.
- Hands-on experience scoping or configuring AI agents on platforms like Make, n8n, Zapier, OpenAI Agents, or similar.
We Offer
- The chance to join a fast-growing AI consultancy at the point it's defining a category, with real client exposure from day one.
- A permanent, fully remote role with a basic salary and the potential to participate in the share option scheme.
- A seat at the table on how we evolve our methodology, our tooling, and the way we work with clients. We want you shaping the playbook, not just following it.
