AI Engineer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the AI team to guide clients from strategic needs analysis to the implementation of modern AI solutions.
• Design, create, and monitor complex workflow automations and AI pipelines using tools like n8n to seamlessly integrate customer business processes.
• Assist clients from needs analysis through the KI-Ready-Check (rights and data governance in SharePoint/Teams) to the setup of Microsoft 365 Copilot. Develop customized domain-specific copilots and autonomous agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Implement and configure standardized interfaces via MCP (Model Context Protocol) to enable LLMs and AI agents to securely access customer databases, ERP/CRM systems, knowledge databases, and file structures.
• Integrate REST-APIs, Webhooks, Vector Stores (RAG), and enterprise tools, ensuring all solutions meet our clients' high security, compliance, and GDPR standards.

Requirements

• Completed higher education or vocational training in application development (or equivalent) with practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Microsoft Copilot
  • n8n, Power Automate, or similar
  • Solid practical experience in process automation with n8n (or similar tools like Make/Airflow) and handling JSON, REST-APIs, and Webhooks.
  • Copilot & Microsoft ecosystem: Experience in designing and building bots and agents.
  • Knowledge of modern agent architectures, prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for tool and data integration.
  • Good knowledge of at least one scripting/programming language (preferably JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, enjoyment of direct customer contact and workshops, and fluent German (at least C1 level) and good English skills.
