About the Position

AI Engineer

As an AI Engineer at Incentro, you will have end-to-end ownership: from idea to live agent. You will conceive and build AI agents that can reason, decide, and act independently.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will combine modern machine learning skills with software engineering. You will develop AI agents and generative AI applications, as well as the infrastructure for evaluation, observability, and continuous improvement to ensure that AI agents remain reliable and measurable.

Together with a rapidly growing team of 35 data & AI experts, you will build AI solutions that make a difference. Projects in which your craftsmanship is visible and your contribution has a direct impact.

Specifically:

• You will develop production-grade AI agents and multi-agent solutions for various clients and use cases using agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, and other frameworks like AutoGen, CrewAI, ADK).
• You will evaluate and fine-tune generative AI models by implementing evaluation frameworks, metrics, and observability. You understand better than anyone how to fine-tune generative AI models tailored to different client cases.
• You will develop and train machine learning models in Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) with a focus on performance, explainability, and reliability.
• You will bring models to production via CI/CD, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker). You will maintain control over quality.
• You will build and integrate models in the cloud (Vertex AI, SageMaker, or Azure ML) and actively think about scalability and reliability.
• You will develop and optimize knowledge bases based on RAG-based knowledge retrieval systems.
• You will apply Generative AI through APIs (e.g., OpenAI or Anthropic) and build smart, personalized solutions with vector search and RAG.

Requirements

Essential:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Python and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Knowledge of ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
• Knowledge of GenAI & Agentic Frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, ADK, CrewAI, AutoGen, etc., as well as agentic AI cloud platforms like Azure AI Foundry, Copilot, and AgentSpace.
• Interest in (or experience with) Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and vector search
• You communicate clearly in both Dutch and English

Nice to Have:

• Experience with building AI solutions in the cloud (SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML, etc.)
• Experience with Docker, Git, CI/CD, and building ETL pipelines
