About the Position

AI-First Product Manager (m/f/d)

At SABO Mobile IT, we build custom software for industrial and enterprise clients, and we are increasingly bringing our own products to market. One of them is SenseDrive.ai, an AI platform that searches repositories, Confluence, Jira, PDFs and tables and answers questions in natural language with sourced results. As Product Manager, you are responsible for the market success of our products: from product vision, strategy and roadmap to business case, pricing and go-to-market, including overall financial responsibility for the product. The customer and the market are at the heart of this role. At SABO, AI and human expertise go hand in hand, and we are looking for someone who uses AI purposefully in their daily work.

Responsibilities

• Understand our customers: systematically identify, interview and document their needs and translate them into product requirements
• Assess and prioritize market demand and use cases by business value, urgency and effort
• Build quantified value propositions and business cases (revenue potential, savings, ROI)
• Design the commercial model and monetization (license, subscription / ARR, services)
• Enable sales: prepare sales arguments and materials and actively support pre-sales in customer meetings and demos
• Together with Marketing and Business Development, plan and execute the go-to-market (positioning, messaging, launch planning)
• Monitor the market and the competition and turn your insights into positioning and roadmap decisions
• Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap in close collaboration with the Product Owner
• Define and track product KPIs (revenue / ARR, adoption, NPS, CLV) and feed the results back into the roadmap
• Prepare decision documents for management: options with costs, benefits and risks, plus a clear recommendation

Requirements

• University degree or a comparable professional qualification
• At least 2 years of experience in product management, product marketing or business development of a software product, ideally in a B2B or industrial software environment
• Experience in owning a product, product line or service offering end to end and helping bring a software product to market
• Hands-on experience in pre-sales or sales support
• Experience in cross-functional teams (development, sales, marketing) and in presenting and defending proposals to management and customers
• Business-oriented, customer-centric and data-driven thinking. You can sell an idea internally and externally and say no with good reasons
• Ability to organize your work independently and reliably
• German at native level and English at least at C1 level
• Driving license and willingness to travel up to 40% of your time (customer visits and trade fairs, also abroad, no weekends)

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI or data-driven products (RAG, ML-based solutions)
• Agile product development: working with a Product Owner at epic and backlog level, sprint reviews
• Budget, cost and resource planning for a product
• Confluence, Jira and CRM tools
• Product management certification (e.g. Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM)
