About the Position

Responsibilities
- Lead AI governance projects and workstreams, helping clients deploy and scale AI responsibly by turning regulatory, ethical, security, and business requirements into practical controls embedded in real solutions and workflows.
- Manage client collaboration with business owners, AI teams, risk functions, legal stakeholders, and users to understand AI use cases and define proportionate governance requirements.
- Lead assessments with AI systems across their lifecycle, including data, models, vendors, applications, human oversight, monitoring, and operational ownership.
- Take ownership of designing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, approval processes, inventories, risk classifications, documentation, and control mechanisms.
- Partner with engineering and delivery teams to ensure governance enables production deployment rather than remaining separate from implementation.
- Lead interviews and workshops, prepare clear recommendations, and support client teams in operationalizing responsible AI practices.
- Contribute reusable assessment methods, templates, training, and best practices for OMMAX AI Governance engagements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, technology risk, cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, digital risk, or a related consulting or in-house role, including experience managing client projects or workstreams.
- Solid understanding of key AI risk topics such as security, privacy, bias, explainability, model oversight, and third-party risk.
- Interest in how organizations can scale AI in a controlled way without slowing down innovation unnecessarily.
- Ability to structure complex topics clearly and turn analysis into pragmatic recommendations.
- Confident communication skills in English and ability to work well with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and solution-focused working style.
- Fluency in English.
